What is the goal of RWS certification?
The goal of the RWS Responsible Wool Standard is to provide the industry with a tool to recognize the best practices of the farm; to ensure that the wool comes from the farm, to take a gradual approach to managing their land, and from being treated responsibly to the sheep. This standard will create an industry benchmark to promote improved animal care and land management, where necessary, and provide a robust chain of regulatory systems from farm to final product, enabling consumers to believe that the wool in their choice is a real RWS Responsible wool.
