11. Guidelines on the use of label grades and signs
Finished or semi-finished products containing recycled materials should be identified as “Global Recycling Standards” products. These products should be graded according to the amount of “pre-consumer and post-consumer” waste, which is at least 5%. In addition, the product description should indicate the proportion of pre-consumer and post-consumer waste.
The product identification must contain the following description:
“Made with Recycled- raw material Pre-consumer X% and X% Post-consumer”
Made from recycled materials, pre-consumer recycled material content is -X% Post-consumer recycled material content - X% Here:
a. Raw materials -: The raw materials must indicate what kind of materials.
b. The proportion of pre-consumer and post-consumer waste must be noted.
11.2 The certified product must additionally indicate “certification company code + certification project number”, and the certification project number is issued by the certification company.
11.3 The certified product may also be additionally marked with the GRS logo shown below, or refer to the textile trading website www.TextileExchange.org, which refers to the use of the logo on the promotional materials, such as not only in the company brochure, The speech must be approved in writing by the textile trading organization.
