Recently, the Textile Exchange (TE) has released several updated documents, indicating that the traceability supervision of GRS/RCS recycled materials will face the strictest ever regulation, namely, the traceability supervision of MMS recycled materials will be more stringent!! We will provide a detailed interpretation in our recent articles and briefing sessions for service enterprises. Reminder: Please be sure to pay attention to the difference between recycled materials and reclaimed materials to avoid confusion! Recently, TE has continuously updated certification documents, including but not limited to the Guidelines for Reclaimed Materials, Recycled Materials Declaration Form, and Errata Log. The currently known requirements are as follows: 1) Strictly control the source of recycled materials. Certification bodies are required to report recycled materials information on a monthly basis; 2) Strictly regulate the certification of the recycling process. The basic conditions and specifications for recycling certification are clearly defined, and all these specifications have been upgraded to mandatory requirements. 3) The new policy is expected to be officially implemented on December 1, 2025.
